Business Days / Days off depend on reservations
Refer to the official website.
Kikuya was founded in 1920. Its grandfather's tempura restaurant, Kikuya, operated for over 20 years in Miyagawacho (next to Gionmachi) in Kyoto City. In 2023, it relocated to Ayabe and became an auberge.
This over 150-year-old traditional Japanese house has been comfortably renovated into a modern style, offering traditional Kyoto cuisine, a spacious Towada stone bath, and a Finnish sauna.
Dinner is served with authentic, high-quality Kyoto cuisine. You can also choose between Japanese and Western breakfasts.
If you're a dog lover, you'll be greeted by a gentle and adorable dachshund named Luke, who you can relax with in the spacious dog run with a great view.
The English-speaking hostess will be happy to assist you with your stay, ensuring a comfortable stay.
